I have conducted classical repertoire and theater, but primarily conduct new music by myself and other composers of my generation. I have made many guest appearances conducting my own work with ensembles such as the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra, the Los Angeles Clarinet Choir, and the Johns Hopkins Clarinet Choir, and I have conducted readings and performances of over thirty premieres by students and emerging composers. I believe in the importance of working with composers along the way, always being open to their comments and suggestions to help make their compositions come alive the way they want them to.
